Hi! I'm Dayna Bee- string arranger, violinist, fiddle player and guitar player in Nashville, TN. I have performed live and/or worked in the studio with artists such as Johnny Mathis, ELO, Trampled by Turtles, Joshua Hedley, The War & Treaty, Al Stewart, Josh Groban, and Natalie Merchant and I'm proud to say I've performed on legendary stages such as The Grand Ole Opry, The Ryman and Red Rocks. I am able to offer full string section arrangements, written and recorded, as well as solo violin/fiddle. I currently play fiddle and guitar for Easton Corbin.

What DAW do you record in?
I record in Logic Pro
What instruments do you play?
I play violin, viola and also have an octave violin that can reach the range of cello.
What microphone do you use for recording?
I use an SE-VR2 Ribbon Mic
What is your arranging process?
First, I like to discuss the song with the artist and understand their vision for the strings and what they are hoping it will add to the song. Then, I prefer to create a mockup recording of the arrangement and send it back to the artist/producer and go from there. I'm always happy to make edits!
What notation software do you use?
I use Sibelius and am happy to provide sheet music of the arrangement if it's part of the order.

First time using someone to write string parts for my kids band. Dayna did a great job taking the task on. Delivery time was excellent. She should not be afraid to ask for help proactively. I didn't realise I haven't shared the chord sheet with her, which would've helped her get a better first delivery....
