About this gig
I am offering violin/fiddle overdubs on your song(s). I am able to play in various genres and customize the sound you're looking for.
With my background & degree in classical music and a vast knowledge of music theory, I have a wide understanding of how to compose strings to appropriately suit and compliment each song. I've always felt that strings add another layer and dimension to music that cannot come from any other instrument.
I love collaborating with artists and finding precisely how to accommodate to their style and vision, and above all, how to make them happy!
When you start an order with me, typically I prefer to know first if you already have ideas for what you would like me to play. If not, I will record a blind take and then go from there. I love when clients provide examples or songs that they enjoy so that I can truly understand what sound they're going for!
I'm also happy to have a Fiverr Zoom call with my clients if we need to deepen the communication about the project.

Hi! I'm Dayna Bee- string arranger, violinist, fiddle player and guitar player in Nashville, TN. I have performed live and/or worked in the studio with artists such as Johnny Mathis, ELO, Trampled by Turtles, Joshua Hedley, The War & Treaty, Al Stewart, Josh Groban, and Natalie Merchant and I'm proud to say I've performed on legendary stages such as The Grand Ole Opry, The Ryman and Red Rocks. I am able to offer full string section arrangements, written and recorded, as well as solo violin/fiddle. I currently play fiddle and guitar for Easton Corbin.

What instruments do you play?
I play violin, fiddle, and viola. I also have an octave violin that can reach the range of a cello.
What software do you record with?
I use Logic as my DAW
What kind of microphone do you use to record yourself?
I use an SE-VR2 Ribbon mic to record my string instruments, I find it sounds the best!
What notation software do you use?
I use Sibelius
What kind of file format will you send me?
Typically I will send a .wav file that is 24/44 but I can adjust that to your needs.
