Do I need to buy a VPS first, or is that something you help with?
You don't need one already. I can help you pick a cheap VPS (Hostinger/Hetzner/DigitalOcean) and set it up as part of the order if you don't have one yet.
I'm not very technical, will I be able to actually use this once it's set up, or do I need to know Docker/Linux stuff?
You won't need to touch Docker or the command line day-to-day. I set that part up and hand you a working assistant you interact with normally, through chat, voice, or whatever channel you asked for.
