About this gig
I specialise in gouache miniature painting and work with a variety of different subjects including streetscapes, portraits, architectural materiality and film.
This gig is a chance to own a personalised miniature gouache portrait of yourself, your partner, a beloved pet, or a nostalgic family portrait. The portrait style will be realistic with a chalky feel to the texture.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
The painting will be in gouache on 300gm hot-pressed paper or on 6mm board if you choose the Gig Extra for an extra fee. Paintings on paper will have a 1cm border all around, useful for framing.
I work from good quality photographs, for which it is advisable to contact me first before purchasing a package.
I request 10 days to deliver as I paint detailed miniatures and you will receive a hard copy of your order in the post.
My work has been featured on the Instagram account @artsofhindostan and I have participated in painting intensive challenges such as FilmOctober by @jodiehoward. FAQ
Will I get the original painting?
Yes, I will be mailing a hard copy of the painting to you via post.
Will the painting be signed?
Yes, I sign every commissioned painting which every artist should! Painting details such as date of work, dimensions, and medium will also be recorded at the back of the painting.
What's your experience?
I have a BA (Hons) in Architecture from The University of Sheffield and a background in Art & Design. I did an Art Foundation at The Royal Drawing School, and learned all things art, including but not limited to colour theory, oil painting, printmaking, sculpting, life drawing, and photography.
