Is this a research writing service?
If you mean, will I write on your behalf, then the answer is no. My aim is to help you improve the presentation of your writing by improving your arguments, justifications and structure.
Will you do proofreading and editing of my writing?
Some, although I will not write on your behalf. My goal is to improve the clarity of your writing by helping you understand when you are less than clear or making a poor argument.
Can we start working together from the start of my research and writing process?
Absolutely! I cannot replace the subject expertise of your assigned supervisor or advisor, but I can often be more accessible and offer more specific feedback for making improvements.
What areas of research do you specialize in?
I am an interdisciplinary area studies scholar. My interests bridge anthropology, literature, philosophy, history, religion studies, and linguistics. My research experience also includes writing business case studies, HIV/AIDS research and language education.
Are there any fields of study you cannot help?
My expertise is in qualitative methodologies -- no matter the field of study. I also teach quantative methodologies employing descriptive analysis. My personal interest lies in postqualitative or critical approaches.
How quickly can I get my project back?
I prefer beginning any review with a conversation with you. I need to understand the scope of your project, your deadlines and expectations. With that clarity, I can usually begin the work immediately.
How much experience do I have providing research guidance and reviewing professionally?
I have guided more than 600 clients from across the globe on various aspects of their research journey on a different platform. In ten years of university teaching my courses always had a research component. I was also a copy editor for three academic journals.
