Is this a research writing service?
If you mean, will I write on your behalf, then the answer is no. My aim is to help you improve your research presentation by improving your writing and understanding of your research design.
Will you do proofreading and editing of my writing?
My goal is to improve the clarity of your writing and through that process some editing is likely to be required. I might suggest chapter or section restructuring. I might suggest different phrases or word choices. I was a copyeditor for three academic journals and will apply these skills.
Can we start working together from the start of my research and writing process?
Absolutely! I cannot replace the subject expertise of your assigned supervisor or advisor, but I can often be more accessible and offer more specific feedback for making improvements.
What areas of research do you specialize in?
I am an interdisciplinary area studies scholar, meaning I combine muliple approaches to study a specific social phenomenon and context. My interests bridge anthropology, literature, philosophy, history, religion studies, and linguistics.
Are there any fields of study you cannot help?
My expertise is in qualitative methodologies -- no matter the field of study. I do not offer guidance for quantative or experimental methodologies. I can also offer help if you are pursuing a postqualitative or critical study.
How quickly can I get my project back?
The answer depends on the length of your project. I will return a Basic package in one day. A Standard or Comprehensive package requires more time. If you have a urgent deadline, let me know.
How much experience do I have providing research guidance and reviewing professionally?
I have guided more than 600 clients from across the globe on various aspects of their research journey. This included proposal/chapter reviews as well as mock vivas/defenses, library research support and data analysis guidance. I have also been a proofreader and editor for three academic journals.
