About this Gig
Cloud bills don't have to be a mystery. I turn "why is my bill so high?" into "here's exactly where to save 30-50%."
What you get:
Complete cloud cost audit AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing deep dive. I map every dollar to the resource, team, and environment that owns it
Right-sizing & waste elimination Idle EC2, oversized RDS, unattached EIPs, orphaned snapshots, zombie load balancers. Typical savings: 20-35% in first pass
Commitment optimization Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Committed Use Discounts. I model 1yr vs 3yr, partial vs full upfront, and show you the exact break-even
Kubernetes cost visibility Kubecost + Grafana: cost per namespace, deployment, pod. Label-based chargeback ready for FinOps maturity
Infracost in CI/CD Every PR shows estimated monthly cost before merge. No surprises in production
Anomaly detection & budgets CloudWatch/Cloud Monitoring alerts + Slack/Email. Catch runaway resources before they hit the invoice
Tagging governance Mandatory tags (env, team, owner, cost-center). Automated enforcement via Policy-as-Code (OPA/Kyverno/Terraform)
Executive-ready report PDF + live dashboard: total spend, trend, savings achieved, road

FAQ
How much can I realistically save?
Most clients see 20-40% reduction in first month (idle resources, right-sizing, commitment discounts). Ongoing optimization adds 5-15%/quarter. I only take projects where I can identify at least 3x my fee in savings.
Do you need root/admin access to my cloud account?
No. I work with read-only permissions: AWS ViewOnlyAccess + CostExplorerReadOnly, Azure Cost Management Reader, GCP Billing Account Viewer. For implementation (RI purchase, cleanup), we use a scoped CI/CD role or you apply the changes.
What if I don't have Kubecost/Infracost installed?
Included in Standard/Premium. I deploy Kubecost (open-source) on your cluster and Infracost in your GitHub/GitLab CI. Basic covers cloud-provider-native tools only.
