I will write a professional game design document gdd for your PC or mobile game
About this Gig
Your game idea deserves more than notes in a Google Doc.
I'm Rafay, a game designer and indie studio founder. I've
written GDDs for PC and mobile games across multiple genres.
I know what developers actually need to read in a doc, and
what just wastes their time.
WHAT YOUR GDD WILL COVER:
Core gameplay loop and mechanics
Game progression, levels, and challenge structure
Story, setting, and characters (if applicable)
UI/UX and player experience flow
Monetization model (F2P, premium, or hybrid)
Platform and technical requirements
Target audience and market positioning
WHO THIS IS FOR:
Developers who have an idea but no documentation
Founders pitching a game to investors or publishers
Teams whose design is scattered across chats and notes
Solo devs who need a clear plan before building anything
WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE:
A properly formatted Google Doc (or PDF) with clear
sections, ready to share with your team or investors.
Not a template with your name swapped in a document
written specifically for your game.
Message me with your game idea before ordering.
I'll confirm the scope and let you know which package fits.
Game type:
Video Game
Platform type:

FAQ
What information do I need to provide?
The more the better, but at minimum: your genre, core idea, target platform, and any mechanics you have in mind. If you have sketches, references, or existing notes, send them. I'll ask follow-up questions after you order via a short intake form.
Will this GDD be ready to hand to my developers?
Yes. The Standard and Premium packages produce a properly structured document with named sections that developers, artists, and producers can work from directly. The Basic (Concept Doc) is more of a design brief, good for early planning or pitching.
What format will the document be in?
Google Docs by default, which I'll share with full editing access. I can also export to PDF or Word on request.
Can you write a GDD if my game idea is still rough?
Yes! That's actually the best time to do it. Part of writing a GDD is forcing the idea to become concrete. If you have a rough idea and a genre, that's enough to start.
