What do I (client) need to send?
You need to send screenshots of your app (which needs to resize). In some cases, I can download the app if it is on the IOS app store, but try to deliver the screenshots yourself as this will require less back and forth.
Which screenshots do I need to upload if my app is on the AppStore (IOS)?
For the AppStore (IOS), you will need 6.5-inch and 5.5-inch screenshots if the app runs on iPhone. If your app also runs on Ipad, you will also need 12.9-inch screenshots. For Mac, Apple TV, and Watch, you require custom sizing
What screenshot size do I need if my app is on the PlayStore (Android)?
PlayStore is much simpler; the size must be between 320px and 3840px with a maximum aspect ratio of 1:2. I usually go for the maximum size allowed, which is 1920px × 3840px.
Which screenshots of my app should I upload?
Show them your Homescreen, key functionalities, and chat/social screens. If you have E-commerce in the app, show things like the checkout or payment methods.
Should there be text on the screenshots and what?
Not always. If your screenshots speak for themselves, the text is only a distraction. Otherwise, it can be a great addition. I recommend you look up some similar apps and see what they did, then come up with a better copy. I can help you with this!
