I build an MCP server that gives Claude safe tools onto your own system. Not a demo server: real tools, a write tool that runs as a dry run by default, and setup notes.

What is an MCP server and why do I need one?
It is a small program that exposes tools to Claude through the Model Context Protocol. Claude can then read or act on your system through those tools, within limits you set, instead of you pasting data in by hand.
Does this work with ChatGPT, or only Claude?
I build and test against Claude and Claude Code. The protocol is open, so other clients that support it may connect, but I have not tested ChatGPT. I will tell you plainly what I verified.
Can you connect my database or BI tool?
I can build tools for a database such as Postgres, read-only unless you want writes. I will check your schema first and keep write tools in dry-run mode. BI tools depend on whether they offer an API.
Which apps and tools can you integrate?
I work in Python and Node.js. Common targets include Postgres, Supabase, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Gmail, Slack and GitHub. Send me your system and I will say what is possible before you order.
What exactly do I receive when you deliver?
The server code, a dry-run-by-default write tool, setup notes and registration steps for Claude Code. Standard and Premium add unit tests. Premium also adds hooks, a subagent and a CLAUDE.md.
Can you also build AI chatbots?
