I know there is a lot of storytelling that goes into a modern fantasy game title. Sci-fi world building is complex, detailed, and full of rich histories that don't spontaneously develop. There's no easy way to fill the void of information in your game world without dedicated writing designed to fill that void directly.

Many games enjoy the illusion of choice for decisive moments in storytelling, and the results are often unfulfilling due to the simplicity of the options and the complexity of the outcome. Often the choice is too early in the plot to recognize the significance, and other times it comes too late to be relevant without deus ex machina to literally fix things without the choice anyway. I won't do that. Pivotal Moments are pivotal because of circumstances that drive the action in a plot.

Then there's all the people in any given scene, who may have an opinion or thought they'd be ready to share with anyone who shows a passing interest to their existence. I can fill those vacant stares with attitude and personality that may happen to be humorous or serious as any given person might be.
