The Process

- Line Art: Finalizing the characters form.
- Base Colors: Confirming color accuracy.
- Final Render: Adding light, shadow, and final touches.

Absolutely! I provide mandatory check-ins in stages: the initial rough sketch, the line art, and the final color flatting. This ensures the design matches your vision before we move to the final render.
How long does it take to complete a reference sheet?
My current turnaround time is 2 to 4 weeks from the date of payment and receipt of all necessary character details. If you have a specific deadline, please let me know before booking; rush fees may apply for shorter timelines.
What exactly is included in a standard reference sheet?
A standard reference sheet typically includes a full-body view of your character (front and back), a close-up headshot, a color palette, and a section for essential notes or accessories. You may request to have custom view, please refer to the gig description.
What do you need from me to get started?
To provide the best result, please provide: A written description of the character (species, personality, key features). Any existing mood boards, color palettes, or reference images. A list of specific outfits, accessories, or markings you want included.
Are there extra charges for complex designs?
Yes. Characters with extremely intricate patterns, complex armor, many accessories, or multiple limb variations will incur an "extra complexity" fee. Please request a custom quote if your character has a highly detailed design.
Can I request changes after the final file is delivered?
Minor tweaks (such as slight color adjustments or fixing a forgotten marking) are included for free within 48 hours of delivery. Larger changes or structural edits after the final file is sent will be charged at my hourly rate.
What file format will I receive?
You will receive a high-resolution 300DPI PNG file suitable for both digital use and high-quality printing. I can provide the source file (CSP) for an additional fee if you wish to edit the character yourself in the future.
What are the usage rights for this reference sheet?
You have full rights to use the artwork for personal use, such as social media avatars, profile headers, or as a reference for other artists. You may not sell the artwork itself or use it for commercial products without prior written agreement and a commercial license fee.
