I will collect public data and deliver clean CSV or excel files
About this Gig
I'm Diogo, a Physics graduate from USP and a Python developer. I help businesses collect publicly available data from websites and deliver it in a clean, readytouse CSV or Excel file.
What I offer:
Custom data collection from any public website
Formatted CSV or Excel output sorted, clean, no broken characters
Ethical approach: I respect robots.txt, use polite delays, and handle errors gracefully
Fast, clear communication throughout the process
Whether you need product listings, real estate data, competitor pricing, or directory information, I'll build a tool tailored to your target site.
How it works:
1. You provide the URL(s) and the data fields you need (title, price, rating, etc.)
2. I build a custom Python collector and extract the data
3. I clean the output and deliver a tidy CSV/Excel file
4. You review and I'll revise until you're satisfied (revisions included)

FAQ
Can you collect data from websites that require a login?
I can handle basic authentication (username/password). For more complex logins (e.g., two‑factor, CAPTCHAs), message me first so we can assess feasibility.
What if the website blocks the data collection?
I build data collection tools with respectful delays, proper headers, and error handling to minimize that risk. Before starting, I check the site’s robots.txt. If the site still blocks, I’ll communicate promptly and we’ll decide the best path.
What format will I receive the data in?
By default, you’ll get a clean CSV file (UTF‑8 encoding). If you prefer Excel (.xlsx) or Google Sheets, just let me know — it’s included in the Standard and Premium packages.
