About this Gig
Under the European PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) and the German Packaging Implementation Act (VerpackDG), every producer, importer, and seller shipping to Germany must participate in recycling disposal systems. This covers product and shipping packaging, especially packaging left with the final consumer. AR service included.
To fulfil international e-merchants' duties under German packaging law, I offer:
- Assistance with initial LUCID registration
- Calculation of all fees and the dual-system partner price
- Contracting a dual-system partner for disposal
- Reporting to the LUCID packaging register
- Acting as your authorised representative (AR) in Germany
- Collecting your signed Declaration of Conformity (DoC) per Annex VIII PPWR
- Keeping records
Registration assistance is via video call or detailed video instructions.
Further costs apply for recycling. Disposal costs are calculated first. A written German-language authorisation contract is mandatory and needs a handwritten signature from both parties.
The Premium tier already includes disposal charges for an initial amount of paper/cardboard.

Do you act as our official authorized representative in Germany under PPWR and VerpackDG?
Yes. EuroTrade Gateway UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is established in Germany and acts as authorized representative under Art. 45 PPWR / § 5 VerpackDG for companies without a German establishment.
Can you provide your authorized-representative LUCID ID and confirm the assignment in the LUCID Packaging Register?
Yes. Our LUCID AR-ID is DE8516803316843. Your client enters this ID during their LUCID registration; we confirm the appointment on our end once it appears in the register.
Do you provide the required written German authorization agreement?
Yes. We provide a bilingual (German/English) appointment contract — the German version is legally binding — covering the PPWR/VerpackDG appointment, system participation, cost pass-through, and termination terms. It requires a handwritten signature from both parties.
Do you arrange and maintain the agreement with an approved German dual-system provider?
Yes to both — we handle data submission to LUCID and to the recycling system pariticpantl, and we reconcile the reported volumes so they match across both systems.
Do you handle year-end/ongoing packaging reports and record-keeping?
Yes, included in the annual fee — no separate charge for the completeness declaration or the twice-yearly volume reports.
Will we get our LUCID registration number and documentation for our sales channels?
Your LUCID registration stays with you — it's non-delegable. We guide you through it via Zoom call and provide the signed AR agreement plus confirmation of the appointment.
Which Fiverr package should we buy, and what's the total cost — initial, dual-system fees, and annual renewal?
Standard Tier — €200 (≈ $290 incl. Fiverr fees), due at engagement, covers AR service and reporting for the current year. Dual-system fees are passed through at cost + 3.5%, with a ~€25 annual minimum. Annual renewal is the same tier fee each year plus that year's dual-system fee.
