Do you use AI to edit the books?
Absolutely NOT! I have a strict anti-AI policy. I do not use AI in any part of the editing process. Neither do I edit books that are written using Generative AI.
Will my work be safe with you?
I take safety of your work very seriously. I understand the hard work you have put into writing this book and hence your work will remain completely confidential. Once I submit your review and you don't need any additional revisions, I will delete your work from my device.
What is the difference between manuscript evaluation(ME) and developmental editing(DE)?
DE is an in-depth analysis of your book and I hold your hand throughout the process to build your story. ME is a one time feedback service where I give you an analysis of how your current draft is and where you can take it. You can message me for a more detailed explanation.
What genres do you edit?
I work with all genres including Romance, Science Fiction, Literary Fiction, LGBTQ+, Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Period Drama, Young Adult, New Adult, Erotica, Dark Romance, Mystery and any others you can think of.
Do you edit non-fiction?
Yes, I do edit non-fiction as well but I will need you to send me a sample of your manuscript and have a discussion for what your book is about and if I have sufficient expertise in it.
Do you offer revisions?
No, I do not offer revisions for manuscript evaluation, but a 60-minute call is included in the service to discuss your manuscript and the feedback.
What formats of documents do you accept?
I accept a Word Document(.docx) or a Google docs link. If you are sending the link please make sure I have access to edit and comment in the document.
What format will you provide the work in?
You will get 2 word files(.docx). One will be your manuscript with light developmental suggestions and reactions in the comments. The other will be an editorial report.
What if my work is more than 100k words?
If your work is more than 100k words, please contact me so we can discuss the pricing and create a custom order for you.
Do you read Adult/Sexual content?
Yes, I am completely comfortable with reading and reviewing adult/sexual content and would provide you my honest opinion on it.
