Do you use AI to edit your work?
NO. I have a strict no-AI policy. You see a human, you get a human. I have more depth than AI and I am earth-friendly. And your literary text needs human texture to connect with fellow kind.
What are your expectations from the author?
1. The literature must be entirely written by you, a human. 2. Please be kind, honest, and professional during the course of the project.
Why do I need to message you before placing an order?
I take only one editorial project at a time to provide immersive quality and I would like to ensure my undivided presence during the editorial process. It also gives us a chance to determine we are the correct fit for each other beyond technicalities.
Will my work be safe with you?
I completely understand the hard work you have put into your manuscript and will be treated ethically and respectfully. After the post-assessment call or revision (if needed), as soon as the project is marked complete, I will delete your manuscript from my computer.
What genres and themes do you work with?
I work with contemporary and literary fiction, identity and marginalised narratives, decolonial texts, humour/comedy, and all genres and themes in fiction. I welcome and support authors from BIPOC, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, marginalised, with disability, neurodivergent, all/self-identifying communities.
What prose formats does the gig include?
The manuscript evaluation can be for novella, novelettes, and novels.

How is it different from beta-reading?
A beta read gives you a reader's reaction. An assessment goes deeper—it evaluates your manuscript's strengths, weaknesses, and what level of editing it actually needs. You get a structured editorial report with elemental analysis of the manuscript, fixes, and recommended next steps.
What is the difference between developmental editing (DE) and manuscript evaluation (ME)?
DE is a collaborative, exhaustive analysis of the manuscript. ME is a one time critique of the presented draft, including elemental analysis of the story structure, characters, and writing. You can message me for a more detailed explanation.
How long will the editorial assessment letter be?
The industry-standard comprehensive editorial letter spans from 5 to 20 pages, but its final length will be based on the structural necessity of the manuscript and not for the sake of building a height.
