FAQ
Do I need Ableton Live already installed?
Yes — Ableton offers a free 90-day trial, or the Lite version that comes bundled with many audio interfaces, so you don't need the full version to start.
I'm a complete beginner with no music production experience — is that okay?
Absolutely, most students start there. We build up gradually, at whatever pace works for you.
Can you help with a project I'm already working on?
Yes — bring your existing project file and we can work directly on it instead of starting from scratch.
What genres do you teach?
I can adapt to most genres — let me know what you're working on so examples and techniques stay relevant to your style.
Do you teach sound design and mixing, or just the basics?
Both. Standard covers foundational workflow and arranging; Premium goes deeper into mixing and sound design.
How do the live sessions work?
We connect via video call (Zoom or your preferred platform), and I'll share my screen and watch yours so I can guide you in real time — just like an in-person lesson.
: What if I need to reschedule a session?
No problem — just message me at least 24 hours in advance and we'll find a new time that works.
Do you offer a trial session before committing to a longer package?
Yes, the Basic package is a single session, so you can try it out before booking Standard or Premium.
Will I be able to finish a full track after these lessons?
With the Standard or Premium package and consistent practice between sessions, most students can complete and arrange a full track. Progress also depends on practice time outside our sessions.
Do I need any music theory knowledge to start?
No — we can cover any theory basics as they come up naturally in your projects.
