About this gig

Making a part for your Tesla Model 3? I'll check how it fits before you print it or cut it.

And yes, you found an actual American engineer who answers during US business hours. Would you look at that.

I work from a full 3D scan of a real Gen 1 Model 3, so exterior parts are checked against an actual car, not guessed from photos. It covers the whole exterior, wheel wells included. For interior parts, I scan the area your part fits when the job needs it.

What you get:

  • Fit Check: your part placed on the scanned car, clearances checked, renders of the fit
  • Fitted Part: I model the part to fit, delivered as a solid STEP plus print-ready STL
  • Complex Part: curved or multi-surface parts as STEP and STL, with a clearance map

A digital fit check shows how your part sits on one scanned car. It doesn't replace a test fit: cars, trims and printed parts vary.

Lips, covers, mounts, brackets, trims and holders.

About me: mechanical engineer (NIU B.S.; Caterpillar, BorgWarner; Formula SAE). I've designed Model 3 parts like a printable aero wheel cover.

Launch pricing: first 10 clients.

Send your part, your car's year and where it goes, and I'll tell you which package fits.

Mechanical engineer (NIU B.S.; Caterpillar, BorgWarner; Formula SAE and SAE Snowmobile) now specializing in car aerodynamics. I 3D-scan real cars and run full-vehicle CFD in OpenFOAM to show what an aero part actually does: drag and downforce in newtons, pressure maps and flow videos. Also experienced in Ansys and SolidWorks Flow Simulation. Recent work: a scanned, mesh-verified Tesla spoiler study for OpenSourceT. I also clean up 3D scans and rebuild parts as editable CAD (STEP) or print-ready files. Clear numbers, honest limits, results you can see.
