FAQ
Why should I hire you instead of negotiating myself?
Did you know dealerships make most of their profit from programs and manufacturer incentives the customer is never even sees? Well, I do. It's this knowledge of the industry that gives me the leverage to get you a great out the door number and keep it that way.
What's the difference between your packages?
Basic: Get your finances in order and prepare to purchase a car. Standard: You are ready to buy a car but aren't sure where to start and/or not willing to deal with the hassle of going to a dealership Premium: Same as standard but you want extra, live protection when signing the final paperwork.
Can you guarantee I'll save money?
I am a convenience and advocate service first and foremost, however to prove my confidence to negotiate a great deal, I do offer a full refund of Standard and Premium services if I am not able to get you an OTD price at least $500 cheaper than the dealer's online advertised sale price.
What is an out-the-door (OTD) price?
The OTD price is the total purchase price, including taxes, dealer fees, and other charges. It's the number that matters most when comparing deals. I'll help you understand the breakdown and spot questionable charges.
Can you help if I have bad credit or I'm a first-time buyer?
Absolutely! I will work with you as much as possible to get you into a car that makes sense for your budget and credit. If your situation would make a car purchase today impossible or impractical and you bought standard or higher, I will move you to Basic Prep and refund the difference.
Do I need to know which vehicle I want?
Nope! But if you have something in mind, that's no problem either. If you aren't sure, I will ask about your needs and preferences and suggest reliable vehicles that fit your specific situation.
Will you actually negotiate with dealerships for me?
With Standard or Premium, I can contact dealerships and negotiate pricing all over the nation. You'll communicate directly with the dealership when it's time to finalize your purchase. With premium, I will assist you during you final paperwork session. I never purchase or sign contracts for you.
How does Premium live support work?
We will coordinate a time for you to visit the dealership and finalize paperwork. I'll join you by speakerphone during a scheduled dealership visit. I'll help you in real-time to avoid high pressure sales tactics and poor value services F&I managers love to push on customers.
What if the dealership changes the price or adds fees when I arrive?
That's exactly the kind of situation I help you prepare for! I will make sure you have a copy of the Out The Door numbers and have all the information you need to hold them to that number. Premium includes live guidance during the finalization process for even more reassurance.
What if a Dealer absolutely refuses to honor their deal?
It is rare but not impossible for a dealer to refuse a sale even if you have the OTD agreement in hand. If this happens, you should walk and it will count as a revision, and I offer 1 revision for free.
