What is Stape.io and do I need to pay for it?
Stape is a hosting provider for the server-side container. Yes, you will need a Stape account. They have a Free plan (up to 10k requests/month) which is great for small sites. However, for better tracking accuracy using a custom domain (highly recommended), their Pro plan (approx. $20/mo) is best.
What access do you need to start the order?
I will need admin access to:Your Google Tag Manager (GTM) account. Your Facebook Business Manager (to access the Pixel/Dataset).Y our Website Backend (WordPress, Shopify, etc.) to verify the data layer and domain verification.
Will this duplicate my data since I already have the browser Pixel?
No. I set up Event Deduplication. This means if Facebook receives the same event from both the browser and the server, it will merge them into one. This ensures your data is accurate and not double-counted.
Which events will you set up?
I will set up all standard e-commerce events relevant to your business, such as Page View, View Content, Add to Cart, Initiate Checkout, and Purchase. If you need custom events (like specific button clicks), please message me first!
