Did the USPTO send you a Show Cause Order because your trademark application or registration was filed through a fraudulent, unauthorized, or improperly supervised representative?
The USPTO may seek to reconsider an approved registration, reopen the proceeding, impose sanctions, or terminate the application or registration. A registration is not necessarily safe simply because it has already issued. In most cases, the USPTO will cancel the application.
I am a U.S. trademark attorney with experience reviewing problematic filings, correcting representation issues, and responding to USPTO notices involving unauthorized or fraudulent service providers.

Will you do a trademark search?

Can you respond to Office Actions for me?
Yes, that is included.
How long does the process take?
Currently, it is taking the USPTO 7 months to review applications. The full process takes around 1 year.
What happens when the trademark is published?
The USPTO gives anyone 1 month to oppose the mark (rare). If no opposition is filed and the trademark was filed as intent to use, you must submit the evidence to the USPTO within 6 months of receiving your notice of allowance. However, you can file for extensions up to 3 years.
If I do not live in the US but have an LLC in the US, can I still represent myself?
No, if you do not live in the US, this gig will not work for you. The USPTO requires you to be a US resident in order to represent yourself.
If I add multiple classes will my costs increase?
Yes, the listed prices are PER CLASS. Adding more classes/categories of products to your application raises the fee (+$200 per additional class for lawyer fees and +$440 per class for government fees).
What do you need from me to start my trademark? How long does it take?
To start your trademark application, I only need your products/services, your/your business' contact information. All of this information will be requested in the requirements after you hire the Gig. Trademarks take about 11-13 months but you will have your serial number immediately once you file.
Additional fees?
If your trademark is not being used in commerce, the USPTO will charge you $150 filing fee, per class, to prove you are using your trademark in commerce 9 months but up to 36 months after filing.
