What software do you use for FEA?
I primarily use ABAQUS and ANSYS for advanced nonlinear analysis, and SAP2000/ETABS for seismic design. I also use OpenSees for research-oriented simulations. All source files can be provided upon request
Do you provide the source/model files?
Yes, I can provide all source files including .cae, .inp, .sap, and custom Python/MATLAB scripts. Please note this is an optional extra service with an additional fee.
What information do you need from me to start?
I typically need structural drawings (floor plans, sections), material properties, loading conditions (dead/live/wind/seismic), and any relevant design codes you'd like me to follow (ASCE, Eurocode, etc.).
How many revisions are included?
The Basic package includes 1 round of minor revisions. Standard includes 1 round, and Premium includes 2 rounds. Additional revisions can be purchased as an extra service.
Can you work with local building codes outside the US?
Absolutely. While I am highly familiar with ASCE 7 and Eurocode 8, I can also adapt to other international codes (e.g., Chinese GB, Australian AS, etc.) with your provided design parameters.
