What is Lottie animation, and how is it different from a GIF?
Lottie is a lightweight, code-based animation format (JSON) used in apps and websites. It’s scalable, interactive, and loads super fast. GIF is a looping image format, great for social media and web, but heavier and not scalable.
What do you need to start the animation?
I’ll need a brief idea of the animation you want, your preferred style (flat, isometric, minimal, etc), dimensions, and where it will be used (app, web, social, etc). If you have vector files or a storyboard, even better!
What tools do you use for creating the animation?
I use Adobe After Effects along with Bodymovin for Lottie exports and standard render for GIF/MP4. All animations are custom-made with care and precision.
What file formats will I receive for my animation?
For Lottie animations, you’ll receive a JSON file ready to be integrated into your website or mobile app. For GIF animations, you’ll get a high-quality GIF file (and optionally, MP4 video if needed) optimized for web and mobile use.
