FAQ
What is your Revision Policy?
The first included revision includes a re-read or script change of up to 25% of the original script length. Revisions do not include full re-reads, but I'm happy to make full re-reads available at 50% of the cost of the original read. Revisions are honored for up to 30
What's the difference between Commercial and Full Broadcast Rights?
Commercial Rights are needed when you will be using the voice over in non-paid marketing channels. Full Broadcast Rights are needed when you'll be using the voice over in paid advertising. This covers the licensing.
What information will you need from me?
I require a text script in final version form, a correct word count, and the correct pronunciations of any unusual names or words. It is best to include pronunciations in a sound file attachment. Content: I follow BBC News content standards.
What can I include in the script to help you pronounce unusual words, names, abbreviations and acronyms?
It's always helpful if the correct pronunciations of uncommon words are included in the script in parentheses. For abbreviations, put dashes in between the characters, such as A-B-C. For acronym
Can I choose the background music?

What will you not record?
I do not record scripts with a lot of foreign words, expletives, or sexual content. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this policy. We do only Family Friendly work. I follow BBC News content standards.
How do I prepare the script?
You should include EVERY word to be spoken. Check closely for mistakes. You are responsible for any errors in the script we DO NOT correct the script for you. If you have more than 1 presenter you should write the required presenters name next to each presenters part.
What equipment do you use?
PRO Sound Studio with United Audio interface for use with Neumann TLM 49 and Sennheiser 416 mics, through a Manley Voxbox or Grace 101 preamp. See my 2012 review of the Neumann TLM 49 on Amazon.
I have a list of words/phrases, is the rate the same?
Lists of words/phrases take longer to record and therefore, the rate is a bit higher. Message me and send me the script so that I can provide you a custom offer to get started.
