No. I first list every port your apps listen on and keep the ones you use open. SSH changes are tested in a second session before the first one is closed.
How do you get access?
I send my public SSH key; you add it to a sudo user and remove it after delivery. No passwords in chat.
Which systems do you support?
Ubuntu 20.04 to 24.04 and Debian 11 to 12 on any VPS or dedicated server. For other distributions, message me first.
What if I only have a root password?
That's common. I help you add an SSH key and a sudo user first, then switch password login off, so you keep access the whole time.
