I come from a theatre light designer background and have been passionate about 3D art since my teens. Combining the two gave me a strong understanding of how lighting shapes the mood, readability and atmosphere of a cinematic scene or a game level. My experience in theatre also helps me approach lighting from a more artistic and intentional perspective than typical game lighting workflows.
