About this Gig
Looking to set up, speed up or fix your computer? I might be your guy.
What is this gig and what do I offer?
Once you contact me and explain your needs or problems, I will connect to your computer using a free piece of software called TeamViewer. I will then take some time to find any potential problems, such as weird Windows or BIOS settings, viruses, driver glitches or hardware issues.
Once I've gathered enough information, I will explain what I've found and suggest we do one or more of the following:
- Make any hardware-level changes if necessary
- (re)install Windows completely if necessary
- Optimise Windows to make sure your OS settings aren't holding you back
- Remove temp files, bloatware and anything necessary
- Install or update drivers
- Tweak your graphics settings in- and out-of-game
- With your help, set up your fan curves to strike a balance between thermals and noise
- Overclock your system if you prefer (and depending on the overclocking headroom in your setup)
Do I have any idea what I'm doing?
I've been building, fixing and tuning computers for over 8 years, from small office PCs to custom water-cooled beasts.

How does your gig work?
Before placing an order, please contact me to explain your needs or problems, and send me detailed information about your computer specs, games you play, software you use, etc. Then, we will set up a meeting so that I can check up on your PC, answer any questions and suggest a plan.
How long will the process take?
1-2 hours depending on the complexity of the problem and the speed of your computer. My goal is to do things well and not to simply get it over with, but I'll do my best not to waste your time.
What package should I take?
Depends on your system and your needs. As a general rule, mid- to high-end systems benefit more from Standard than Basic. Premium is for a complete reinstall & setup.
Will this help in all games? What FPS can you get me?
Yup, the goal is to tweak your computer as a whole, which should help all games. Let me know your specs, your screen resolution and the games you play and I can give you a rough FPS target.
I want to build a new computer, can you help me set it up?
Of course, the Premium package is just for you then. With my other gig, I can also help you pick the best parts for your PC or build it for you.
