FAQ
Do you offer other fantasy football services?
Yes. Visit my profile for additional Draft With Doug tools including DFS optimizers, matchup projections, cheat sheets, and season-long team management.
What is the “GPP Rating”?
The GPP Rating is a custom formula that combines projected value and ownership. It helps identify players who offer strong upside without being overly popular in tournaments.
Why is a superstar player tagged as “🟡 Chalky” or “❌ Avoid”?
Those tags don’t mean the player is bad. They indicate that the player may be highly owned relative to their salary and projected value. In large tournaments, unique lineups are important.
What does the “Exclude DST vs QB” setting do?
This prevents your lineup from using a quarterback against your own defense. It helps avoid negatively correlated lineup combinations in GPP contests.
How many lineups should I generate?
1–3 lineups: Better for smaller contests and single-entry games. 10–20 lineups: Better for large-field tournaments and lineup diversity
What does the Tournament Aggression slider do?
It adjusts how much the optimizer weighs ownership versus raw projection. Higher aggression settings favor lower-owned tournament pivots.
Can I lock or exclude players?
Yes. You can lock core players into every lineup or exclude players you don’t want the optimizer to use.
Can I use my own projections?
No. The optimizer currently uses Draft With Doug projections and ownership data. You can still customize builds using the lock and exclude features.
