What access do you need from me?
For most work, FTP or cPanel access plus the forum admin account. For server-level work, SSH access. I share specific access requirements before you order so there are no surprises. All credentials handled securely and removed after the work.
Can you upgrade old phpBB versions (3.0, 3.1, 3.2)?
Yes. I've upgraded forums running phpBB 3.0 — versions over a decade old. Old upgrades take longer because they're step-by-step (3.0 → 3.1 → 3.2 → 3.3) and extensions need re-checking at each step. Premium tier covers this work.
What if something breaks during the upgrade?
I take a full backup before any work — files and database. If something breaks, I roll back and investigate. Issues caused by my work are fixed at no extra charge during the post-work support window (3-7 days depending on tier).
Can you match the phpBB style to my existing website?
Yes. I can take your site's design and build a matching phpBB style — colors, fonts, header, layout. This sits in Standard or Premium depending on complexity. Send me your site URL when you message me.
Do you migrate from vBulletin / MyBB / SMF to phpBB?
Yes, with most content preserved (posts, users, forum structure). Some custom data (specific extensions, custom fields) may need manual mapping. Premium tier work, quoted after I see the source forum.
