About this gig
I have been moving websites and email between hosts for twelve years, over
1500 orders. Most of my work is a straight host to host move, but I also copy
or clone a site onto a new domain, subdomain or staging server.
I work with WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Drupal, Laravel and custom PHP, and
have moved sites to and from Hostinger, SiteGround, Bluehost, GoDaddy, AWS and
DigitalOcean.
I also migrate email, moving mailboxes between cPanel, Google Workspace,
Microsoft 365 and Zoho, and I set the SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX records so mail
keeps working.
Here is what I handle:
- Moving a site, or many, between any two hosts
- Cloning or copying a site to a new domain, subdomain or staging server
- Email mailbox migration between providers
- DNS, SSL and domain registrar transfers
I take a full backup before I change anything, and I set up and test the new
host before I touch DNS, so your visitors see no downtime. If a migration
problem appears inside the warranty window, I fix it free.
I cannot move sites that give no access to the source files, so Wix,
Squarespace, Shopify and wordpress.com are out.

FAQ
What information do you need to start?
Login credentials for old host, new host, and (if needed) domain registrar. For email migration, source mailbox and destination admin login. Please double-check credentials before sending. Wrong info adds delivery time.
Which sites you can't transfer?
I transfer almost all kind of self hosted sites ( execpt asp.net sites ). I can't transfer sites that doesn't provide access to source files. e.g. wordpress.com, squarespace, wix, weebly, shopify and such. So please make sure you are not ordering for these sites. Contact me first if any confusion!
Can you migrate/transfer my site built in XYZ to wordpress?
Sure. But this gig isn't appropriate for that service. Check out my WordPress website creation gig. I'd prefer if you just contact me and describe your requirement. I'll send you appropriate custom order in that case.
Do you transfer SSL certificates?
Free SSL (Let's Encrypt) is set up on the new host as standard. Paid commercial SSL certificates can be reinstalled if you have the cert files. This service available as a $10 extra. Most modern hosts handle SSL automatically once domain is pointed.
Will there be downtime?
No. Full backup taken before any change, new host prepared first, then DNS updated when the new setup is verified working. Buyers see no interruption if domain DNS TTL is reasonable (under 24 hours typically).
Do you handle email migration?
Yes. Standard includes 1 mailbox with full DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). Premium covers up to 5. Extra mailboxes are $10 each. Supports Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, cPanel, Zoho, and most providers.
What's covered by the 3 day warranty?
If a migration-caused issue surfaces within 3 days of delivery, broken links, email delivery roblems, DNS misconfigurations I fix it free. Pre-existing issues on the source site aren't covered, but we can discuss separately.
Do you handle very large sites or VPS migrations
Yes, but message me first for a custom quote. Tiers are sized for normal sites. Very large sites (over 10GB), multisite networks, or unmanaged VPS migrations involve more time than standard packages.
