About this Gig
My name is Dylan Wang, an advanced chess player who has a deep passion for the game of chess. Although my skill levels aren't high enough to teach advanced chess players, I would love to bring more people into the game of chess and develop their love for the game. With experience in competitive chess, creator & host of tournaments, and past teaching, my classes will be concise, densely packed with information, and an overall enjoyable time.
I'm not a master-level player by any means, however, I am experienced at introducing people to chess.
Whether you're a complete beginner to chess, or just getting started, My classes will completely cover everything you'll need to become an advanced chess player. My 3 different levels of classes can prepare you to be a better chess player, but even more importantly, a better decision maker relating things outside the game itself.
Things you will learn in my courses:
-How the game of chess works
-How competitive chess works
-How to recognize tactics & strategies
-Opening theory for beginners & intermediates
-Time management
-Etiquettes in tournament settings
-Notations
-Game sense
-How the elo system works
-Further educational platforms
Academic work to be done for you, is unethical since it violates most schools’ Honor Codes.
Asking sellers to prepare homework/academic works on your behalf is against Fiverr’s Community Standard and may lead to your account being disabled.

Yes, always.
What's your elo?
I'm around 1500 elo.
Are you open to teaching multiple people at the same time, like parent-child?
Of course! I have taught kids and parents simultaneously before, it was very enjoyable.
What additional information will be included besides just information about chess?
I will also include topics like how to improve without playing games, analysis, importance of reviewing your own games and top player's games, and fast ways to improve as a beginner.
