FAQ
How long will it take to incorporate my company?
From the time that all documentation is filed, it can take up to 14 days for the Companies Registration Office to issue the certificate of incorporation.
What annual CRO filings are required?
An Irish company must file Form B1 (Annual Return) electronically with the CRO every year, and from the second annual return onward, financial statements must also be submitted. Other CRO forms often filed as needed, such as changes to directors, registered office address, share capital.
What happens if statutory filings are late?
Late filings can incur penalties and may lead to loss of audit exemption, so timely compliance is essential.
What is an IPN?
An IPN (Identified Person Number) is a unique identification number assigned to non-resident directors of Irish companies who do not have a Personal Public Service Number. It is used for identity verification purposes during filings and must be provided upon incorporation.
