I will geolocate your photo and verify what it shows using osint

About this gig
You have an image and you need to know where it was taken and whether it shows what it claims to show.
I work from what is visible in the frame: terrain, skyline, road markings, signage, vegetation, power lines, architecture, shadow direction. Those get matched against open sources satellite and aerial imagery, street-level photography, open map data, historical imagery. Metadata is checked where it exists, but the result does not depend on it. An image with the EXIF stripped is still solvable.
What you get back:
- The location as coordinates, and a marked map
- The evidence: the exact features that fix the position, pointed out in your image
- A confidence rating, and what would raise or lower it
I also tell you when I cannot place it. Some images simply do not contain enough to fix a position. In that case you get the reasoning and what would be needed not a guess dressed up as an answer.
A revision means I re-examine the image if you can add context I did not have. It is not a redesign of the delivered map.
Message me before ordering if you are unsure whether your image is workable. I will tell you honestly.

FAQ
Does the photo need EXIF or GPS data?
No. Most images that reach me have none, social media strips it, screenshots never had it. The location comes from what is in the frame. If EXIF is present I check it, but I also check whether it is plausible
What if you cannot find the location?
It happens. Featureless interiors, close-ups, heavy crops and plain sky or water often do not carry enough information. You get my reasoning, how far I did narrow it down, and what additional material would make it solvable. Message me first if you want an honest read before ordering.
Do you need the original file?
The original is better than a screenshot, more resolution, more detail, and any metadata still intact. But I work with what you have. Send the largest version you can.
Can you locate a person, or find out where someone lives?
No. I work on images and places, not on people. I do not take orders aimed at locating, identifying or tracking an individual, and I will cancel such an order.
What about video?
Short clips are fine, from Standard upwards. I work from the frames, so the same applies: what is visible decides. Tell me the timestamp of the part that matters.
