I will provide line editing for your manuscript, essay, personal statement, or content piece. Line editing is the step that comes prior to copy editing and proofreading. It entails reviewing your written work and determining if there are inconsistencies in tense, tone, show vs. tell, point of view switches, readability problems, chronological inconsistencies, crutch words, harsh jargon, reoccurring words, and more.

Generally, you want to conduct line editing after you've conducted your developmental editing and then move onto your copy editing, proofreading, and then publication. Copy editing focuses more on grammar and syntax (in case this is misattributed). I will review the aforementioned areas and mark minor grammatical errors and typos and provide basic proofreading.
