About this Gig
Everyone can benefit from a second set of eyes on their manuscript. As a writer, I know that firsthand. I offer this beta reader service for fantasy manuscripts (children's, YA, NA, or adult). I'm open to any sub-genre, including urban fantasy, high fantasy, fantasy romance, dystopian, and more! I am open to other genres, but please reach out so we can discuss if it would be a good fit.
You can expect in-line commentary throughout with my honest reactions, comments, and questions in addition to a 2-4 page reader report. The reader report focuses on your characters (relatability, believability, goals), your setting (immersion, world building, description), and overall plot (pacing, cohesion, understandability). You can also choose to add-on chapter summaries and a sample line edit of the first 3k words of your manuscript.

I offer another service that offers an in-depth analysis of your book's hook, character introductions, and world building. The service is $5 for the first 3k words and would be a great way to trial my services.
