As an author, I wouldn't want someone to feed my manuscript into an AI, so I wouldn't do the same. Out of respect for my clients and their manuscripts, I do NOT use generative AI—such as ChatGPT or Claude—in my beta reading service, my reports, or even in the response you are reading right now.

Unlike other beta readers science fiction, I focus on helping authors explain the most complex aspects of their novels. For example, a very complex magic system (like Harry Potter) or complex scientific topics (like Interstellar).
