About this gig
Prices are indicative, please contact me directly, preferably before taking your pictures so that I can advise on how to take them. Different techniques need to be employed depending on what needs to be photoscanned whether it is a person or an object. This is especially true when dealing with reflective objects. If you wish to process a new set of pictures you will need to purchase a revision unless otherwise specified.
I will professionally select your images and use photogrammetry software in order to create a detailed mesh of your object. If included in the package I will also clean and manually enhance your project into being as good as possible.
I have a 3D printer myself and can make sure anything you order from me is also 3D printable. I will deliver in your desired 3D formats with the most common being .obj, .fbx and .stl for 3D printing.
I will provide you with the information needed to get a good set of pictures needed for an excellent result. If you do not follow my instructions correctly you may need to purchase a revision to process an additional set of pictures.

Do you scan museum artifacts?
Museum artifacts are a very common request, I work with museums and art enthusiasts often. A common problem my clients have is not being able to reschedule another photoshoot with the museum if their pictures are inadequate, by contacting me beforehand I can advise you during this process.
How much experience do you have?
I have over 1500 hours of paid freelance experience when it comes to Photogrammetry, 3D Printing and 3D Software.
How many times will you run my pictures through the software?
Every revision is an extra full photo processing which can take between 5-24 hours on a high end computer depending on the detail required. If you follow everything I say you will get an amazing result the first set of photos if not you may need to purchase a revision.
Will I be charged extra depending on the object?
You will not be charged extra but you will need to make sure to follow my advice when taking your pictures, reflective object parts will need to be covered.
Do I need a professional camera?
A professional camera is not needed, an iphone is sufficient for photogrammetry to work. However if you have access to a camera or can borrow one I would strongly recommend that.
Can I use a spinning plate / turntable?
If you submit pictures from a spinning plate they need to be masked to get a good result.
