Why do you not base on the number of references?
As an academic, I encourage good synthesis of the literature and if you had time to count them, you'd probably have time to fix them! My packages are instead based on the depth of checking and changes needed. See my packages for more information.
Do you need to know how many references I have?
No exact counts are needed. Instead, I offer checks for one piece of work e.g. one dissertation, one essay, one chapter of your thesis. If you have multiple pieces or chapters for me to view, please buy one gig per piece. If you are unclear, please do message me.
What referencing styles do you work with?
I specialise in APA (6th and 7th Editions) and Harvard. If you're using a custom institutional style based on these, I can usually adapt. Please just let me know.
What exactly does check and correct mean?
I cross-check every in-text citation against your reference list, and the reference list against the text, fix formatting issues, highlight missing or inconsistent entries and ensure everything follows your chosen style guide. I do not verify the accuracy of source content e.g. article titles.
Can you edit in both word and PDF files?
I work in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) only to allow tracked changes and clear formatting. If your work is in another format, please convert it before uploading.
Will you use Turnitin or Grammarly?
No. This package is for formatting and consistency only. If you need a plagiarism scan, I would only ever recommend you use your university's tools. I offer proofreading on my other packages.
