About this gig
Moving your WordPress website? I will move the actual site, not leave you with a backup file and a list of jobs.
I transfer your WordPress files and database, connect the destination, and check the pages, images, links and forms after the move.
What is included:
- A backup before the transfer
- WordPress files and database migration
- Destination setup and URL updates
- Domain connection and available SSL setup
- Checks for pages, images, links and forms
- A written handover explaining what moved
Basic covers one standard WordPress site up to 1 GB. Standard covers one site up to 3 GB, including WooCommerce. Premium covers one site up to 5 GB with a domain change and an agreed redirect map for up to 20 existing URLs.
Keep the old hosting active until the new site has been checked. Hosting and domain purchases are separate. Email inbox migration, malware removal, multisite and unusually large or complex sites need a separate quote.

How is this different from your Shopify migration gig?
This moves an existing WordPress website to another host or domain while keeping WordPress. My Shopify migration gig transfers a store from another platform into Shopify.
Do I need the new hosting before ordering?
Yes, the destination hosting should be active for the move. If you are unsure what to buy or set up, message me with your current site and I will explain the requirements. Hosting costs are separate.
What about email and a live WooCommerce store?
Tell me if your domain also handles business email or a live store. We will plan the DNS changes and store cutover around that. Email inbox transfers are separate. Keep the old hosting active until the destination is verified.
