About this gig

Need to know how air or water flows around your design, and how to make it better?

I'm a mechatronics engineering student and Aerodynamics Vice Team Leader at ASU Racing Team (Formula Student). I run external and internal flow simulations in ANSYS Fluent and turn the results into clear design decisions.

Recent results:

  • Formula Student car: +20% downforce (250 N to 300 N) after fixing front-wing flow separation, 3rd Place Overall at FSUK 2025 Concept Class
  • Underwater vehicle hull: -20% hydrodynamic drag through CFD-driven shape optimization
  • Propeller selection by comparative CFD of multiple design iterations

What I do:

  • Geometry cleanup, defeaturing and watertight wrapping
  • Meshing with inflation layers and a proper domain size
  • Drag, lift/downforce, pressure and velocity results
  • Moving ground and rotating wheels/propellers when needed
  • A short report explaining the results and what to change

Good fit for: vehicles, wings, drones, underwater/marine bodies, ducts, fans and student projects.
