Yes. I regularly optimize ESP32, STM32, Arduino and Raspberry Pi–based IoT boards for lower BOM cost and easier PCB manufacturing, while keeping RF, power and reliability requirements intact.
Will my PCB performance be affected by cost reduction?
No! My focus is on cost efficiency without compromising quality. I ensure that all recommended component replacements match or exceed the original specifications.
Will you also review PCB layout for manufacturing costing?
In higher packages I review pcb optimization & manufacturing costing: layer stackup, board size, panelization, finishes and footprints that increase assembly cost, and suggest practical changes.
Do you support JLCPCB, PCBWay and LCSC-based manufacturing?
Yes. I can align BOM and PCB files with JLCPCB / PCBWay / LCSC part libraries to make your prototype or mass production run easier and cheaper for your chosen PCB manufacturer.
What files do you need to start the cost optimization?
Ideally: schematic, BOM (Excel/CSV/JLC) and PCB or Gerber files. If you only have Gerbers and a BOM, I can still do a useful cost-down and manufacturing cost review.
Can you help before we go to mass PCB manufacturing?
Yes. This gig is designed to check your design before mass production, reduce per-board cost and fix basic DFM issues, so your contract manufacturer has fewer problems and reworks.
Will you implement the changes in Altium, KiCad or EasyEDA files?
By default I provide a detailed cost-down report. If you choose the relevant extra, I can also apply agreed changes directly in Altium, KiCad or EasyEDA design files.
Can you work on industrial, robotics or automotive accessory PCBs?
Yes. I have experience with industrial automation, robotics, motor drivers, power supplies and automotive accessory PCBs, focusing on safe cost reduction and manufacturability.
Do you handle both prototype and high-volume cost optimization?
