About this Gig
Turn Your Idea into a Clear Embedded & IoT Hardware Plan
Have a product idea but no idea how the electronics should be built? I help founders and teams turn rough concepts into a realistic hardware architecture before you spend on PCB design, prototypes, or firmware.
I'm an electronics engineering specialist with 11+ years in embedded systems and IoT products. I've designed boards in Altium Designer and KiCad using ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and custom SoCs for consumer, industrial and light robotics projects.
What I will do for you
- Clarify requirements (use-case, environment, power, size, certifications, target cost)
- Choose the right MCU/SoC, sensors and wireless (WiFi, Bluetooth, LoRa, LTE)
- Create a clean block diagram with all modules and power rails
- Provide a rough BOM cost estimate from major suppliers
- Highlight technical risks and gaps so you can avoid expensive PCB re-spins later
You receive a concise architecture document that any design engineer can follow.
Not sure which package fits? Send me a short message about your idea and Ill recommend the best option

FAQ
What will I receive after the architecture finalization?
You’ll receive a clear block diagram, a short architecture document, and a basic component selection guide with notes on power rails, interfaces and key risks.
I’m not technical and don’t have detailed specs. Can you still help?
Yes, absolutely. Many of my clients are non-technical founders. I’ll ask you simple questions about what the product should do, and I’ll translate your answers into clear technical requirements and a hardware plan.
Can you assist with schematic design and PCB layout after architecture finalization?
Yes. This gig covers only architecture and feasibility, but I also offer separate gigs and custom offers for full schematic design and PCB layout in Altium or KiCad if you’d like me to continue the project.
Do you support hardware development for all types of electronics products?
I mainly focus on embedded systems and IoT devices using platforms like ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and custom SoCs. If your project is outside this scope, send me a message and I’ll tell you honestly if I’m the right fit.
Is firmware / Arduino / ESP32 code included?
No, this gig does not include firmware or driver coding. I will, however, choose suitable MCUs/modules (ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.) and define interfaces so that firmware development is straightforward later.
Can you help with certifications or EMI/EMC later?
Yes. In the architecture phase I can flag certification and EMI/EMC risks. After the architecture is done, I can offer separate gigs for PCB design, EMI/EMC-friendly layout and preparation for CE/FCC compliance.
Which tools and platforms do you work with?
For hardware I mainly use Altium Designer and KiCad, and I commonly design around ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and custom SoCs for IoT and embedded systems.
How do I get started?
Place an order on the package that fits you best and fill in the requirements form with your idea, constraints and any existing docs. If you’re unsure which package to choose, message me first with a short summary and I’ll guide you.
