Yes! I specialize in plastic injection molding and zinc die casting. My designs consider wall thickness, draft angles, radii, undercuts, material properties and manufacturing requirements.
What information do you need to start my project?
Please provide sketches, dimensions, reference images or existing CAD files, along with the intended material, manufacturing process and functional requirements. If some details are unknown, I can help evaluate suitable solutions.
Can you optimize an existing design for manufacturing?
Absolutely! I can review and optimize existing designs for manufacturability, including wall thickness, draft angles, ribs, radii, tolerances and material selection. More extensive optimizations require a custom offer.
Which CAD software and file formats do you use?
I primarily work with Autodesk Inventor. Depending on your package, I can deliver STEP files, native Inventor files (IPT, IAM, IDW) and PDF technical drawings.
Are your designs ready for manufacturing?
I create production-oriented designs based on established engineering and manufacturing principles. Final manufacturability must be confirmed with the selected manufacturer or toolmaker. Mold design, Moldflow simulations and tooling validation are not included.
