Writing a whole novel? Done. Writing 150 words about it? Suddenly impossible.

Almost every author I know struggles with this, and the reason is simple: you know your story too well. You want to explain everything. A blurb has to do the opposite. It picks one character, one wound, one question, and leaves the reader hungry.

That is what I do. I have spent the last two years writing my own fantasy novel, and somewhere along the way blurbs became my favorite discipline. Give me your messy synopsis, full of spoilers, and I will hand you back a German back cover text that makes readers want your book.

I write blurbs in German my native language and the language your readers buy in. You get 2 or 3 drafts to pick from, plus an Amazon description in the bigger packages. No spoilers ever end up in the final text.
