Do I need my own server?
Yes, but it can be as simple as a $5/month VPS from DigitalOcean, Hostinger, Hetzner, or Vultr. I can help you choose the right size for your framework. You can also run this on a home server or mini PC.
Which framework should I choose?
If you want a personal AI assistant that gets smarter over time, go with Hermes Agent. If you need a coding automation agent, Goose is the best fit. If you need the widest set of messaging integrations or multiple agent sets, OpenClaw has the most coverage. Message me and I'll help you decide.
Do I need to pay for an LLM API?
The Full Setup and Premium packages include a pre-loaded OpenRouter API key with $10 of credit, so you can start using your agent right away. When you're ready, I include clear instructions on how to swap in your own key. You can also use an OpenAI ChatGPT Subscription for $20/month.
Is my data private?
100%. These are all self-hosted, open-source frameworks. Your conversations, memory, and data stay on your machine. Nothing is sent to a third-party platform you don't control.
Can you migrate me from another agent or from ChatGPT/Claude?
Yes. The Premium package includes migration support, including moving from OpenClaw to Hermes Agent. If you're coming from a SaaS chatbot and want to go self-hosted, I'll get you set up from scratch
