Hello! My name is Carmen Elisa Vargas I am a classical trained percussionist. I record marimba, vibes and classical percussion. Currently, I am a percussionist at the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra so complex partitures are not a problem for me. I have played and recorded for a great variaty of musicians from classical music, latin to afro-music. I have access to a large variaty of instruments.

I am Carmen Elisa Vargas, a professional musician with more than 12 years of experience on stage and in the music industry. I graduated in academic percussion at the Simón Bolivar Conservatory of music in Caracas. Currently, I hold the position of Assistant Principal and Percussionist at the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra. this has allowed me to work in great projects that has been nominated to a Latin Grammy and have played with a great variety of musicians in different styles and genres from orchestal and classical music, latin music to afro-music.
