A bit about my reading preferences for your consideration: I love anything fast-paced, but believe a slow building of dread is even more powerful. My favorite horror/thriller authors are Ira Levin (Rosemary's Baby, The Stepford Wives) and Victor LaValle (The Changeling, The Devil in Silver), so urban horror and thrillers rooted in a contemporary world are my jam. I also love surrealism and trippy stories, so the weirder, the better! Ghosts, demons, witches, vampires... I love them all.
