I will beta read your LGBTQIA+ novel and provide helpful feedback on the novel itself and the portrayal of any LGBTQIA+ characters. Feel free to request focus on any specific character or plotline in the story.
A bit about me: I've identified as a lesbian for over a decade (although I've also identified as bisexual and queer in the past) and use she/they pronouns. I'm very up-to-date on social issues and trends within the community and can gently direct you toward proper terminology and portrayals of LGBTQIA+ characters in your manuscript. I am also well-versed in LGBTQIA+ history, taking multiple courses on the subject and studying it regularly, so I'm happy to answer questions and clarify facts if your story involves the history of the community as well!

Do you use AI while beta reading?
Never have, never will! The only eyes on your work will be mine. Your manuscript will never be uploaded into any AI programs, and the comments/critique letter will be entirely my own thoughts. I want to enjoy and give feedback on your story through good, old-fashioned reading and critical thought!
Can I still book this service if my manuscript is longer than 100k words?
Of course! Feel free to message me with your word count for a custom offer.
Do you read adult content/smut? Should I provide trigger warnings?
Yup, no problem! I'm open to reading pretty much any type of story, especially romance in all its forms. I don't need any trigger warnings, although if you'd like to provide them, go right ahead!
