About this gig
Hello! I'm Elvya Dulcimer, and I have a passion for music. Here in the forest where I live there is always new inspiration to sing in whimsical tunes to any type of music. Personally, I have a passion for celtic music, film music or other calm, enchanting chants. However, I'm always open to sing in for different genres as well. I have lots of experience in chillstep (with Blackmill, Krisu, Eminus,...) and metal (Ayreon, Leaves Eyes,...) and am looking forward to hearing what track you come up with.
Please contact me before placing an order, as I would love to brainstorm together with you so that I know exactly what you are looking for before we start. I don't know music theory but am an expert in improvisation and I will come up with enchanting melodies on the spot. So if you have a track you want a high, ethereal voice for, without having to give too much explanation, I'm your go to Elf. ;)
I have two of my own cd's in which you can hear me sing, they are called Untold Stories and Echoes. Please note that I find it important to be credited for my work. :)

Hello there!
I'm Elvya Dulcimer, musician and real-life Hobbit. I play the Hammered Dulcimer and sing with an ethereal voice.
I live in the Belgian forest without any neighbors, together with my lovely animals. My whole life revolves around art, specifically music.
My goal? Add that extra touch of magic to your projects.
Nature and magical themes are my specialities, both in music as in art, but if you have a cool idea you'd like to see happening, even if it's a completely different genre, please reach out to me and together we'll make your dreams come true!

Do you require crediting?
Yes. I always ask to be mentioned and added as main artist on for example Spotify if we collaborate on a song together that you release and it fits within the style my fans are also loving. I have hundreds of thousands of monthly listeners on Spotify so the credit will benefit you as well ;)
What languages do you sing in?
I sing in English and Dutch, and I am open to learning lyrics in any language if required. Also made up lyrics are my speciality.

Can you help with uploading a collaboration to Distrokid?
Absolutely! If you don't know how to use Distrokid yet to distribute your music online and you want my help guiding you through the process and making sure we are both mentioned the proper way, I'd love to help you!
Can you help with artwork when we do a collab?
Yes, if that's something that's needed, we'll look at it together and find the best artwork possible for our collab :)
What's your preferred way of collaborating?
I call my way of working 'ping ponging'. It basically means we go back and forth with sending stems, feedback and mixes until we are both 100% satisfied with the result. I find it extremely important that we both are absolutely blown away by our song, so I will go the extra mile to reach perfection.
