Do you want to make your script shine like a pro? Nothing pulls a reader out of a story faster than a misspelling or an inconsistency. In fact, many screenwriting competitions will disqualify your script because of small mistakes.
On top of that, you need to use the formatting that's correct for your type of screenplay. Features, animation, TV comedies and dramas all have different formats. It can all be overwhelming!
Take advantage of my 5 years of experience as a script coordinator working for primetime network television shows on ABC, NBC, and CBS where I proofread for grammar, spelling, logical inconsistencies and formatted all production scripts. I know what to look for and can help your script stand out above the pack.
The Editing / Proofreading / Formatting services include:
- A fully revised script: This script will be in revision mode so you can see what changes were made.
- A clean script: This script will have all changes implemented in Final Draft and PDF.
- Explainer document: A PDF explaining all changes that were made as well as the reason for them.

FAQ
What types of files will you accept?
The most widely used software for screenwriting is Final Draft and the script will look the most professional in the .fdx format. However, if you have a software you prefer, I'm happy to discuss.
Can you provide a sample of your work?
I've included a sample in the photos section of what the revised script and explainer document will look like. If you'd like to get a better idea of this service, feel free to send me one page of your screenplay for me to proofread, edit and format to see if this gig is right for you.
How is this different from rewriting?
I will fix any errors and confusing language I see, including syntax. But I will not change scenes, dialogue or the structure in any way. This service is geared towards taking what you have and making it the most readable screenplay possible using small edits, proofreading and formatting.
