Do I have to pay for hosting?
Google Sites itself is free to use. A custom domain such as yourname.com is bought separately from a registrar, and Google Workspace is optional.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, but only the site owner can connect a domain, so you do that step. Premium includes a written guide, and my separate domain gig offers live guided help.
What can’t Google Sites do?
It has no built-in store checkout, no custom code and only basic search-engine settings. It suits brochure-style websites well. I will tell you honestly if your plan needs more than that.
Will you write the text for my website?
Copywriting is not included. Send me your text, even rough notes, and I will lay it out clearly and tidy small issues. I can suggest a page structure that tells visitors what you do and how to contact you.
Who owns the website, and how is it handed over?
You do. Create a blank Google Site and add me as an Editor, so ownership stays with you from day one. Google warns a custom domain can stop working if site ownership is transferred, so we avoid transfers.
